“All visits are not perfect, but my experience is quite valid. I am SO tired of being hustled!!! Really exhausted. I bought a 10 year warranty on a product in a new (constructed) home. The area sales person was condescending and a little to aggressive for me, but I guess it works for native California’s. I spoke with a manager and arranged for service at the same time to further insure my product, with the understanding of getting an annual discount and a reminder call. WELL, the brochure lists 23 points to be checked for the service. Unfortunately, the list is generic as my heat pump installed 10/2024 does not need or allow 5 of the 23 items to be performed. The tech and I had a thorough conversation about the system and he suggested a”compressor saver” and explained the benefit and why the manufacturer does not build it in. I said yes to the $490 upsell UNTIL after checking online, I found the part was no more than $75!!!! I am so sick of the California games of ripping people off just because reality TV says these folk have money to burn. I’m not that stupid! I am perfectly willing to pay a small markup, but the tech is here! $400 is just plain Ole greedy. Icing on the cake, the fee for the visit was not discounted as promised.

Now I’m not confident in the “maintenance inspection” so I will get ANOTHER company to verify that my system is OK and not missing any vital parts. 🤔🙁😵‍💫😡”
